Private Knitting Teacher
Having been a knitter for 14 years now I’ve taught individual/private lessons and in group settings. From cables to color work, I’ve covered just about everything you could ask for. I’m a continental knitter and can show multiple ways to tension your working yarn (often a struggle for new knitters). I’m able to teach beginner to intermediate and have advanced skills for those wanting to push themselves. Knowing how to read your knitting is important for all skill levels so I encourage that no matter where you are in your knitting journey.
As a fiber artist I’ve created my own patterns as well. I’m not just a knitter. I’ve been spinning for 12 years and weaving for 2.

As with crocheting, I can teach a range of students, from those with the beginning desire to learn to students wishing to hone specific techniques. My favorite techniques include in the round and double pointed needles, because who doesn't want to learn to avoid more sewing?

My youth was spent in Eastern Europe which meant cold winters. With that came mom’s teaching on how to make a scarf, a blanket, a coffee mug wrapper, socks and sweaters.
Though nowadays it may be counterproductive to knit, there is no better way to show someone you love than something that is handmade by you.
I’ll teach you what it takes to get started. Book your sessions now and let’s start knitting.
About Isabela
Before reading about me, I'd like to share up front the honor that my newest student, R., has brought to me by choosing to learn Romanian. Nothing special so far except that he is 100 years old!!!! Yes, you read that correctly: a century old. He is the outmost inspiring person in my life by teachin
