The classical guitar is a rich and powerful instrument that has a long history. It has been developed like many instruments such as the piano, and today the guitar has a very powerful influence on modern music. However, the beautiful sounds from the past eras of music, Renaissance, Baroque, and Romanic composers have created wonderful and mysterious pieces that feature this incredible instrument. My goal is to help people who are interested in this type of music be able to perform and reproduce these amazing sounds.

About Christopher
Hello! Hola! Benvenuto! My name is Christopher S. and I am a classical guitarist, composer, polyglot, and experienced language and music teacher.

I am a recent graduate with a Masters of Music degree from the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston, MA. There I studied with the world-renowned guitarist Eliot Fisk who is a direct student of the legendary guitarist Andres Segovia.

Currently I work part time teaching 12 students guitar at the University of South Carolina, in Columbia. I also I teach ukulele, Spanish, Italian, and English to a variety of students online. At the same time I am pursuing a Doctoral degree from the university to strengthen my skills as a guitarist and expand my knowledge as a teacher for higher education. I have also just completed my debut album titled, "Anima - The Music of Spain and Italy for the Gu
itar."

This album is a tribute and memorial to an amazing journey I had traveling and living in Europe for 3 years.

After I graduated from my undergraduate degree, I realized that in order to better my skills as a musician and become the guitar teacher I wanted to be I had to travel abroad. I moved to Seville, Spain where for three years I studied the art of classical and flamenco guitar.

I studied with a international known Spanish guitarist named Francisco Bernier at the Conservatory in Seville. During this time I was also teaching English as a second language to high school and middle school students. From traveling and spending so much time in Europe, I also developed and studied my love of languages and I became fluent in Spanish and Italian.

The experienced was an experience of a lifetime and I made many friends working and living abroad that to this day, I still keep in contact with.

If you are interested in having lessons with me, please contact me and we can begin learning the art of making beautiful music or learning the beautiful languages of the Mediterranean! "Hasta pronto!" "A presto!" and "Speak to you soon!"

You can expect very ing quality lessons from a master guitarist with over 35 years of experience as an educator and over 40 years experience as a performing/recording artist.

About Bob
Hi, Bob here...... very much looking forward to meeting you! I've been teaching music since 1980 (Guitar, Bass, Piano and Voice) and I love helping my students play well! Of course we throw jamming and/or composing music into the mix when desired and appropriate. Many of my students perform, and record their music.
I earned my degrees from the Berklee College of Music for Performance and Music Ed. in 1980. I founded my School of Music in 1983, which served as a prep school for Berklee and other schools. We offered private instruction, courses, ensembles and recording courses and producing artists and band's CD's. Many of my former students have become major stars and celebs in music.
I'm a warm, funny, passionate person. I love to teach and my teaching style is a patient, step by step, and custom tailored approach for your individu
al needs and goals. Always an emphasis on FUN! My philosophy as a teacher is to give you the tools and help you develop skills with them so that you can learn and grow musically on your own! I look forward to helping you reach and achieve all your goals!

Amazing enthusiastic teacher!
I have a friend who has been taking lessons from one teacher for 3 years and learned one song! (Not even correctly) But, myself, have been taking lessons with Bob Wolfman for 2-3 months and have learned the grid method, cord construction theory, the musical staff, not to mention 2 whole songs. I would recommend this teacher to anyone willing to learn guitar correctly and productively.

I took lessons with Bob for 8 weeks, and was able to accomplish the things that I initially set out to do: have a better understanding of music theory, start to be able to read music, and to actually be able to play a song or two on the ukulele. Had my schedule not become impossible to work around, I would have continued. As someone who had never played ANY instrument, it's daunting to start at age 38, but this made it easier. I feel that I have the tools to continue to grow on my own. Thank you!

The most important thing a teacher can do for a student is to guide him or her to a point where advancement becomes a self discipline.
This is accomplished by getting to know a student's learning style and adapting to it. And absolutely laying a strong foundation in fundamentals of music.
I've been teaching private lessons for over five years and all of my students have extensive instruction in music theory. I also encourage experimentation and creativity to work in some music composition.

About Sharon
Music has been a central pulse to my entire life. I started taking piano lessons at age 5 and picked up the clarinet in elementary school. By the end of middle school I was writing songs on the piano and guitar and trying to get anyone I knew to play in a band with me.
In High School I finally did manage to play in a band that would play shows in the Greater Rochester Area in New York State. Once I hit age 18, I packed my bags and moved to San Diego where I continued working on my craft and started my new life.
I never stopped playing music, writing songs, and trying to find people to collaborate with. By the time I started my career as a hairstylist, I knew that I had to share my love and passion for music with others and endeavored to build a student schedule.
My first students, as an adult, were my future in-laws. Mother, father and si
ster in-law learned piano, guitar and music theory with me. My late father in-law had a left leg amputation and was blind. We taped rice on the back of the guitar neck so he would have a tactile reference to his frets. It felt so good to bring a dream of his to life and to prove to naysayers that anyone can play, even if the challenges are far greater than average.
Within a year, I had enough referrals to fill 2 days of the week with students. I have held 3 recitals and plan on having a holiday recital this year.
I will never stop sharing music with others and look forward to meeting any new students granted via this platform.

In my 20 year career I have taught hundreds of students ranging from 7 years old to retirees. I take a very tailored approach for each student and help them to realize their potential. I was once where you are now. I wanted to learn but had no clear direction. Throughout the years I learned to pick-up some great techniques from some of the best players. While in college I learned to refine my craft by playing and collaborating with other musicians. Unlike other instructors, I teach through experience. I live and breathe music - and you can too!

About Tony
I am a dedicated father and worker. I have been studying music for over 20 years and have been teaching children since 2002. I've worked as a classroom music teacher and as a private lessons teacher at 3 different schools. I have vast experience in teaching guitar (Electric, Acoustic, Classical) and have taught recorder, piano, mandolin, & recording arts. Because I am a CEO of a local non-profit, I have also been a guest lecturer at Cal Poly Pomona for having music as a "duel career." I have my own classical chamber ensemble, am the choir director at my church, released 3 albums in the past, performed at the Whiskey and other venues on the sunset strip in Hollywood, and helped hundreds of students learn their musical craft. From Bach to Metallica, I've taught it all. Personally I love playing all kinds of music but currently my performanc
e has been focused on classical. If you want a firm foundation grounded in years of experience, you've found the perfect teacher!

Instead of a rigid model of teaching, I teach by getting to know what my students like and get them to learn the guitar by songs they're inspired by! Guitar can be pretty difficult to learn especially in the beginning. So I want to make sure my students enjoy the process of learning as much as possible!

About James
I've been playing guitar for 15 years and teaching for a little over 10 of those years. I'm well versed in many styles as both a player and a teacher. As I mentioned, I want to get to know what made you pick up the guitar in the first place. I want to get you playing those songs.. eventually! I went to college for a music performance degree for French Horn. I also have a wide understanding of music theory for anyone that wants to get into that realm!

I am the director and lead instructor of Triumph Music Academy, the highest rated music school in Grand Rapids, MI. What makes my teaching style so unique and sought after is my ability to communicate exactly how music works and how it operates as a language - all with guidance that anyone can understand. My students often surpass their goals; playing songs, writing their own material, playing gigs, and even recording in studios. If you would like to really get serious about your playing, I can help you make anything happen!

About James
I am a professional musician for hire, composer/songwriter, and teacher who makes a living in West Michigan. My career in music started in my teens, playing in bands, recording original music, and touring. For college, I majored in Guitar Performance under Brian Morris and Andrew Bergeron at the GRCC Music Center; Carlos de la Barrera at Grand Valley State University. I also minored in upright bass studies with Grand Rapids Symphony Orchestra bassist Michael Crawford and majored in composition with GVSU New Music Director Bill Ryan. I started my private teaching career when I moved to Grand Rapids, MI in 2005 while attending music school. My ex
perience started with teaching lessons out of apartments I lived in, then on to most of the local are guitar stores (Firehouse Guitars, Rainbow Music, etc.), and then starting programs at local community institutions and hosting lessons at the colleges I attended. I now own Grand Rapid's highest rated extracurricular music school, Triumph Music Academy, established in 2011. I have been teaching online lessons for the past 4 years and have developed a cohesive and streamlined curriculum.
