I have been sewing for about 25 years now . My ability and love for it has grown with each experience. I have gone to school for fashion design and worked in the garment industry. My main growing experience has been my self taught lessons which brought me to more sewing focused jobs. Since then I have worked privately with people, adults and kids , in their sewing pursuit . The classes I have available now will be focusing on the pattern of your choice which we will break down and create over a few lessons depending on the difficulty or how long it takes. I will also encourage you to do some work at home if the time allows. I will ask that you bring a pattern and the fabric to the first class so we can get right to work. Most importantly, let's have fun in the world of sewing!

I started tutoring and caring for children very early, volunteered in classrooms in preschools, elementary schools and special needs classes when I was still in school. I worked with children from infants to teens over the next twenty years in childcare centers, day cares, school age programs, tutoring and private lessons.I completed my BA in Education in March of 2014.

I have worked in Animation for over 20 years, from traditional 2D animation to computer, initially in Canada, in Montreal, more precisely. In '97, I was hired by the Walt Disney Animation Studio to train their animators on the computer. I taught computer animation software, mainly Maya, and Photoshop to hundreds of talented artists here in Burbank. I was also creating and writing teaching materials, so I am well versed in Word, and Illustrator. I really enjoy teaching, but after years of teaching animation software, I craved teaching something more meaningful, that wouldn't just help people in their career, but in every aspect of their life. This is where Life Coaching got my attention. Through coaching, I can have a real positive impact in the world, one person at a time. My other ...
