William B. Riverside, CA

About William

I am a guitarist, composer and teacher specializing in classical guitar and Latin American music. I have loved music for all of my life and my primary expression of that love is playing guitar. I currently teach private guitar lessons, lecture at San Bernardino Valley College and work as a freelance performer in the Inland Empire and greater Los Angeles area. I began my study of music at the age of thirteen when I taught myself how to play folk, rock and blues guitar. Though, to be honest, I didn't just teach myself. I had many friends who played guitar who would show me songs or correct mistakes in the songs I had learned from the internet. I remember thinking that music had a special ability to bring people together, and I became determined to understand what exactly it was that gave

Rock J. Rialto, CA

About Rock

I'm a piano player with over a decade of experience, and have been teaching lessons for around eight years or so. I graduated with honors from California State University, San Bernardino, in 2008, with degrees in both Music Education and Music Composition.I have an affinity for Central and Eastern European Piano music and I currently play two Sundays a month at Spirit of Hope Church in San Bernardino. My teaching style runs the gamut of the piano repertoire -- from classical to broadway to jazz to the commercial music arena -- and my teaching revolves around the importance of notation and the printed page.I was originally a guitar player and have taught guitar to students as well, again, placing great emphasis on notated music, as it's far easier to move from the printed page to ...

Victoria is really nice and definitely patient. She made it comfortable for me from the first meeting. It takes a good teacher to make the fundamental part of learning any instrument exciting which is exactly what Victoria does. Her tutoring makes me hopeful for my musical future. If you're looking to learn how to play the piano you can't go wrong with her.

We are very blessed!

We have been very pleased with our flute teacher. I have had the privilege of Victoria's instruction for 3.5 years. Victoria is fun, patient and energetic. She is reliable and flexible at the same time, which we appreciate. She works on hard passages diligently with me until I am confidant. We consider it a huge plus that she comes to our home for lessons. We are very blessed to have such a wonderful teacher.

I was very fortunate to be able to take my first acting lessons with Mara Madison. Her and her husband provided a very supportive and encouraging environment to someone with no acting experience or background. Mara is very knowledgeable and well prepared for each class. She gave me helpful advice and encouragement, as well as material to take home and study for future classes.

Excellent Acting Coach, Teacher, Trainer

I have had a great experience as a student of Mara Madison. She has a lot of industry knowledge and industry experience helping me cut through what's most important when it comes to acting for film, stage, and commercials. I feel really fortunate to be working with her and her husband Marvin.

Mara is a great teacher and coach, very encouraging, and professional. She's always prepared with lesson plans, acting activities, and handouts all customized to my level and progress in her course.

Mara is not teaching me theories, but real world experience honed from years of practicing her craft and through knowledge passed on from her parents who were entrenched in film and theater and tops in their respective industry.

Mara has helped me increase my confidence in front of audiences, become more entertaining, reduce my inhibition and shyness. You will be happy if get a chance to work with Mara. I am so glad to be learning from her.

I have worked with Sara both on and off stage for the past year. During our Masters of Music in Vocal Performance program at the University of Redlands, Sara demonstrated professionalism, dedication to her craft as well as a true and deep knowledge of vocal technique, stage craft and performance practices. Sara treats her peers and colleges with respect, and she is kind, patient and nurturing with her students. I have the highest respect for Sara as musician and teacher, and I am confident that any student who chooses to study with her will benefit greatly and will experience consistent healthy growth as a singer.

Sara helped me a great deal with learning to sing with better breath support and to get a level of consistency out of my voice that I thought was beyond me. If she can help me, she can help you.

I came into my lessons with Sara knowing that she was trained as a classical vocalist, but still wanted to find what I could learn from her in other styles. Fortunately for me, Sara actually came from a background in rock music in addition to her conservatory training. Her versatility in different genres and techniques that catered to my specific goals along with her positive attitude made her stand out as a vocal teacher. Definitely would recommend her to any serious vocalist student.
Easton N. Riverside, CA

About Easton

I am a college student, who is also an aspiring musician, and singer/songwriter. I had 10 years training with the piano, and I had two years training with guitar. Even though I am not the most professional teacher you can find, but my lesson plan is designed to help students that want to learn to play instruments fast for a talent show, a performance, or even for music writing. From basic chords to complicated chords, I am there to help you depending on how much you want to know, and I hope that music would be something for you to do in your past time. My lessons are affordable because honestly I am no master in the instruments, but I can play decently enough to help you. I also had a good music theory training for 7 years. My genre focuses are: pop, folk, country, rock,... . Also, I can ...

Easton is exactly what my son needed, he is Sweet and he certainly knows how to work with children. Being a college student, Easton has all the knowledge freshed (music major), but most important is how he applies that knowledge. My son is 10 years old and not an easy kid to deal with, but Easton captured his heart first, and that was all my son needed to be attentive and willing to learn. He can either play piano or guitar which is a plus. I would not change him for anyone, he is very affordable as well.
