Besides the experience and knowledge acquired practicing and performing music for over 30 years, Dan is also known for an abundant patience and creativity in his teachings. In addition to violin, Dan also teaches beginner viola, cello and piano. Dan can also help you with advice on music performance, stage presence, conducting, composition, arrangement, ear training and music theory, as well as coach you in winning auditions, preparing for competitions, recitals and concerts.
Dan was born in Romania in 1981 and started playing violin at the age of 4. He played as a soloist for the first time with a professional orchestra at the age of 10, and won multiple national and international violin competitions while in the National College of Art Ion Vidu. Dan arrived to the United States in 2000 with a full music scholarship. He earned a Bachelor's Degree in Violin Performance, a Professional Violin Performance Certificate and a Master Degree in Music from the prestigious Lynn University Music Conservatory, graduating in 2007. Dan is currently performing with St. Pete Opera, Florida Orchestra, Sarasota Orchestra, Venice Symphony, Charlotte Symphony, Southwest Florida Symphony, Orlando Phil and Palm Beach Opera. Nicole began her musical journey in Long Island, New York when she began piano lessons at age five. While receiving training on piano, she joined her elementary school orchestra in the 3rd grade and quickly soared with violin. During this period, Nicole began learning music theory and the art of reading music. As a fourth grader, Nicole would go on to conduct and tune every instrument in her orchestra during rehearsal.
