About Julie

I have been teaching voice, guitar and piano to students of all ages and levels for over 5 years now. I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Berklee College of Music with a BA in Songwriting and Vocal Studies. I teach mostly contemporary musical styles such as Pop/Rock/Country/R&B, but I have also trained and coached many students interested in pursuing musical theater and classical styles as well. I have performed live in countless venues in many cities both as a solo artist, and with a band as a side-woman. I like to emphasize performance skills as well as the basic techniques. Julie is doing a good job of trying to keep Alexandria focused. Julie works well with her. Alexandria's attention during the 30 min. sessions is not as good as I had hoped. But Julie continues to try different songs, methods to keep her focused.

A wonderful experience

I took vocal lessons from David. I had taken some singing lessons when I was younger, but needed to brush up. I sing in a band, and David helped my song performance. I will be taking more lessons in the future.

He's amazing!

Both my daughters are learning guitar from David and they love it. I am impressed with their improvement and David even got them to "jam" together. When I ask them what they want to be when they grow up, they say they are going to be rockstars. I would gladly refer David to anyone searching for an enthusiastic and wonderful instructor.

Dylan was great with my daughter and helped her learn a lot. He is a very nice young gentleman. The only disappointments I had were site related, and use of the site related. The way our appointments were abruptly cut off. I understand that he did have other obligations to school, but we paid for 1 full year so we could get the discount, and when he stopped being my daughter's teacher, we were left with whatever pieces of the funds we had not yet used. No longer a discount, as the "free lessons" added to the end of the arrangement were not met. Also, there was a lot of scheduling changes that were not reflected in the calendar on this site. It got very hard to track which appointments we actually attended as they were never on the dates it showed in the calendar. I am left unsure if we ended up paying Dylan for the correct amount of classes.
