Anything related to drumline i.e. snare, tenors, bass drums etc.
Hi! My name is Thomas. I'm a 21 year old native of sacramento. I've been drumming for 8 years now and have been teaching for over 3 years. I'm still currently teaching at West Campus high school with their drumline. I'm very patient and enthusiastic with drumming. I teach all ages. I want to motivate and inspire people to fall in love with playing drums as much as I have. Along the way to becoming a great drummer, I will also teach you how to read and write music. I look forward to meeting you! *** Specialties *** Drumset-Any Genre. Prefer to teach someone without a specific style. I like to explore all styles because as a percussionist, it is vital to have a wide variety of skills. Percussion-Marching Snare, Marching Tenor, Marching Bass, Bass cajon.

Colin recognizes the individuality in music and in musicians. The skill level does not matter: from beginners to advanced levels, there are things ...
I enjoy teaching students who have never played drums, as well as students who have taken from previous instructors!

Currently, I am a member of the Street Drum Corps based out of Los Angeles. We have done TV shows including Cartoon Network's Hall Of Game Awards, as well as the opening segment of Kevin Nealon's special comedy show "Whelmed, But Not Overly." which aired on Showtime. I am a drummer that has been playing in some of the top nightclubs throughout California, Las Vegas, Arizona, and Chicago. I will always consider myself a life-long student of music and drums. Practice, like performance, is an art; and given our limited time to apply ourselves to our craft, it is important to make the best use of that time. Essentially this process is about problem-solving; figuring out what physical (and psychological) barriers exist that are preventing you from being the player you want to be. When I work with you, my intent is to help carve out your own path for you to achieve your own goals in the quickest amount of time and with the least amount of effort! This involves (a) clearly identifying your goals and (b) incorporating specific practice techniques that will effectively help you get to where you want to be.
