Professional guitarist, composer, and producer in Brooklyn, NY. Honors graduate from the New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music with 5 years of teaching experience. I'm here to help you achieve whatever it is YOU specifically seek in your musical development! This includes (but is not limited to) learning your favorite songs, developing guitar technique/facility, music theory/harmony, ear training, sight reading, rhythm/time/feel, home recording/production techniques, and even tools to combat performance anxiety. I'm a specialist in jazz, rock, blues, country, metal, alternative, folk, funk and pop guitar. I've dedicated my life to music and have a vast amount of experience studying, performing, recording, and teaching in a variety of genres. I'm here to help you tackle your personal goals and dreams in music!

Most music teachers from stores will give you a very standard non-personalized approach to teaching. My style of teaching focuses on the student's goals and needs. I teach Guitar, Bass, and Ukulele. I also teach songwriting skills, good practice habits, and stage presence/performance tips, the necessary skills required to be an original performing artist that I developed with my own experience pursuing a music career

I have been playing, teaching and performing for over 20 years and am currently a professional touring musician. I learned from some of the best instructors while at Berklee and have developed a very unique way of teaching. Instead of learning right out of a book, I teach you real world applications that you can take directly from your lesson to the stage (or your practice room). Experienced guitarist of 12 years available for eager students of all experience levels and ages! I structure my lessons so students learn what they want to learn, while also building a strong foundation of classical guitar skills. I specialize in rock, blues, and Jazz. I have a Masters degree in Vocal Performance so you can expect a well rounded curriculum that will help you better understand music and playing with others while you improve your own personal technique.

When it really comes down to it, the idea of learning an instrument can be very daunting. It's really easy to get discouraged and put off diving into something that should just be fun and rewarding. But a little direction goes a very long way! I can help you maximize your time and focus your efforts so you can make the most of whatever level of commitment you are comfortable with.

Want to start with the nuts and bolts? I can walk you through the basic fundamentals of Music Theory. We can explore chords, scales, intervals, rhythm, and melody all at a methodical and comfortable pace.

Just want to get the ball rolling and start learning some tunes already?! We can do it that way then! A few exercises and tips on technique will allow you to start honing your skills while you expand your song list.

If you opt to learn on an electric guitar, I can teach you how to use an amplifier, effects and other equipment to find the perfect sound you are looking for.
