Dear guys,

I have been teaching French language at all levels to adults and children for over 10 years, creating my own classes uniquely tailored to each student's goals and dreams. I graduated from UCLA with a specialty in French language, culture and literature. I created and taught the first French classes in Oxnard elementary schools and created and taught French language and culture classes in the Ventura College Community Education.

As a longtime translator, I have worked on significant literary and travel projects from French-English.

I’m thrilled and dedicated to diving into our language classes, with goals and dreams unique to each of you. I’d love to share with you the incredible, simple, awesome tools to enliven your learning journey!

About Jane (Zhenya)
I was born in Saint Petersburg, Russia and have always had an immense love for languages and cultures of the world. I found that diving into a new language and culture is one of the most incredible, joyful, compassionate and meaningful paths to discovering the world. All the while, rediscovering one’s own unique interests and curiosities. It’s always surprising and rewarding in ways we can’t foresee.

As a longtime, professional independent instructor, I never imagined where my languages and creative work would lead me and the wonderful folks I encountered along the way.

It’s been a journey of incredible variety.

I had the amazing opportunity to create and teach the first Russian, French and Italian classes to children in public elementary schools all around Oxnard. I was invited to teach French and Italian classes i
n the Ventura College Community Education, Russian immersion program for the U.S. Government and English to a team of international entrepreneurs and their families.

This work and my students inspired a joyful dedication to creating live video classes. I discovered that it’s a special, interactive and awesome platform into the world and I love seeing it grow.

I look forward to working with you and supporting you on your language journey.

Till then,

Zhenya

Few years ago, when I was attending LACC and taking grammar classes I thought that my knowledge of Verb Tenses was good enough . I used to write huge essays included a lot of pages. Moreover, I was getting straight As for all the essays that inspired me. Maybe my grammar was really correct, but I’m not sure that I expressed meaning correctly because I didn’t feel and recognize many nuances of Verb Tenses. Since , I started to take your classes I have understood how Verb Tenses are diverse , how flexible meaning they have in order to show our emotions.
Some people say it”s not necessary to use all V.T. Simple Past , Present and Future it”s enough for communication with each other, but I’m not agree with them. Using all V.T. we have made English more rich , natural and beautiful for that reason our life become jucier.
I never had been so fascinated by studying English grammar before I met you 
I have appreciated your teaching full love . You’re always ready to share your skills with the people who want to improve their knowledge. I’m happy that I found you!
THANK YOU MY DEAR Zhenya !!!!!!!! 

Bonjour !

As a native french speaker, most people told me that French is a beautiful language but so hard to learn! My answer is always the same "No more than any other language. If you have fun while learning it, it will come easily"

And I really believe it. That is why I offer French lessons using games, music and videos to help my students learn quickly without getting bored.

Either for personal interest of for profesional reasons, I will help you mastering French in an enjoyable way.

About Yaelle
Bonjour !

I was born and raised in a small town in West of France where the speciality is... a handkerchief!

I have since lived in Belgium, Norway, Israel, Romania and now Texas following my husband who is a scientist. In every country, I taught French to several students and developped great tutoring skills from it.

Beside teaching and science, my passion in life is cooking! I will be more than happy to share French recipes with you so you can feel and taste some of the French culture.

Yaelle makes learning very interesting and fun. She communicates the material very well and also challenges and encourages me to have confidence while speaking. She is a native of France and to me it is important to hear the vocabulary spoken with a true French accent. I recommend her very highly as a teacher.

Aside from being born and raised in a French speaking country, I have taken multiple French classes in college which has dramatically implified my passion of languages through teaching.

About Gimberg
Due to being younger than most piano teachers, I am able to connect easier with younger students and help them bring out their untapped potential. I also make my lesson sessions fun and enjoyable in order to keep my students eager to learn more about music.

I have been classically trained at a very young age, then took lessons at a music school while completing high school. I studied music for 2 years at LIU Post where I also played in the jazz ensemble, many recitals and live performances. There, I had the opportunity to meet some wolrd known musicians such as Esperanza Spalding and Cory Henry. Besides these experiences I have also received multiple awards and diplomas related to music.

I am taking a course with Pascale through a university continuing education program. It is a perfect course for anyone who would like to visit France because Pascale is helping us to develop the practical, everyday language skills we need. For example, we learn vocabulary related to shopping for food at a market and we learn how to interact with a hotel reservation desk. Pascale is helping us to build vocabulary and create good sentence structure. The best part is the way Pascale is able to make the learning process enjoyable. I would recommend her.

Pascale has been teaching me French at UNLV for over a year. She is great at explaining the grammar in her lessons and makes her class so interesting that it made me want to learn more. When the semester is over, I go to her private classes whenever possible.
