Karen is a great teacher

Karen teaches my 5 yr. old daughter violin. She loves Karen and has progressed quicker than I thought she would. Karen is very good with little kids and really knows how to motivate them. My daughter looks forward to seeing her each week and is willing to work for Karen. She especially likes it when Karen plays with her. I would definitely recommend Karen as a teacher!

Singing
Great teacher

Short and sweet review.
I sang in operettas in college and decided my son needed vocal lessons. I didn't want to teach him because it is sometimes difficult to teach family members. So I got him lessons from Kevin.
Glad I did, He is a great teacher for young and old alike and even wound up teaching me a thing or two!
Very professional, talented and very patient which is so important in my opinion.
Highly recommended.

Before Kevin's teaching I had many technical problems and wrong song choices. He helped develop my voice into a voice worth listing to when I sing. The more he taught me the better I sounded, I couldn't and can"t believe it's really me ,singing.I've actually placed in a few contest thanks to his method's. Can't wait till the new year to learn more and continue to sound better.

About Jaime

***Teaching Philosophy*** I believe music is essential in education, as it teaches self-discipline, improves mental function, and enriches the soul. As a voice teacher, I believe in teaching healthy technique and opening doors to many genres, and fostering creativity and self-expression through composition. I encourage students to participate in choral and dramatic groups to hone their craft, as well as to help push them past their self-imposed limitations. As a cello teacher, I encourage involvement in orchestras and chamber groups, as they teach teamwork and develop listening skills. Music is such an incredible form of personal expression, and I aspire to help my students find their true musical voices and share them with others. ***Experience*** I have taught private music ...

During my career as a professional singer, Jaime has always been the first person I call for help with my CCM (Contemporary Commercial Music) technique. Over the years, she has helped me tremendously to develop a healthy belt technique and to increase my belt range as well. It would be an understatement to say that she knows her stuff. Oh, and she's an incredible classical singer, too. Just saying.

In addition to the breadth of her vocal knowledge, Jaime is as passionate about and dedicated to her students as you could ever want from a teacher. She always makes learning music fun and accessible, and she will be a champion and friend to you. Jaime is one of the finest singers and teachers I know.

Blayne Z. Greensboro, NC

About Blayne

As a teacher and mentor, I strive to teach each of my students to be a complete vocal musician. By this, I mean a vocal musician who has complete mastery of all aspects of a fully trained, confident, and competent musician. This includes knowledge of vocal production, musicianship, music history, and music theory. It is my job as a teacher to teach each student how to control their instrument and make the most beautiful sound. I also strive to engage each student in the history and theory of music. These tools are the fundamentals of music and therefore must be a component of a complete vocal musicians training. Musicianship is the creative aspect of each musical artist. It is developed and discovered throughout the training process. I believe that discovery is the greatest tool I have to

I couldn't have asked for a better teacher. Very patient, kind and professional. Heather made me feel very comfortable (I tend to get really nervous when singing in front of people) so that helped a ton. After taking lessons with Heather I feel my singing has improved and my knowledge about the piano has expanded. Gives honest and constructive critiques. I would highly recommend taking lessons from Heather to anyone.

Wes C. Kernersville, NC

About Wes

My name is Wes C. I've been playing acoustic guitar since August of 2012. I have picked up much faster than I ever thought I would, and I love seeing others learn as well. I have a blast seeing people progress, but I am also in need of some money at the moment with being a college student. I try and keep things as cheap as I can and I will most definitely use every minute of each lesson to help progress the students further along. I'm all about having fun during this time, no pressure at all. I'm here to teach, help, and encourage!
