Victoria F.

La Vergne, TN

About Victoria

I love teaching! How incredible it is to aid people in the joy of music, build their confidence, and help them sing with ease and comfort! I am a classical vocal performance graduate from Belmont University. I have sung all over the world, as a soloist with a missions organization The New America Singers. We sang in Thailand, Hong Kong, Singapore, the Philippines, South Korea, Russia and Germany, with our largest audience being over 6,000 people. I have performed several solo concerts in Germany, directed Children's Musicals, and have been teaching private voice at my home studio, the YMCA in Brentwood, as well as Rock Springs Middle school. Teaching voice is something that I am passionate about. I had some vocal health issues when I was younger, but thankfully I had an incredible teacher

Great Teacher!

My son has really enjoyed his lessons with Victoria. She is enthusiastic and knowledgeable, and makes the lessons fun. I can already hear his making progress in just four lessons, and he looks forward to each class. We'll be signing up for more lessons!

Excellent Teaching

I feel like Ms. Victoria is a great teacher. In just seven months she has transformed me into a completely different singer. My range is now greater than ever and my roles in musicals have increased significantly. Her skills have given me newfound courage and I would highly recommended her to anyone interested in vocal lessons.

Rafe H.

Murfreesboro, TN

About Rafe

Hello! My name is Rafe (rhymes with safe) and I'm a drummer and drum teacher in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. My wife, two teenagers and two dogs and I have lived in Murfreesboro since 2006. Prior to that I lived in Nashville after moving here from Atlanta in 2001. I come from a long line of singer/songwriters and working musicians. I've been playing drums and percussion since elementary school. My first real drum hero was Peter Criss of KISS! During and after high school I developed the reading and coordination skills to move from marching and orchestral percussion into drum set playing. Along the way I've had the good fortune of knowing and being mentored by some very worthy and accomplished teachers, most notably Jack Dukes of Atlanta, GA who was an early graduate of Musician's ...

Great teacher and loads of fun!

I've been taking lessons from Steve for almost 8 years (that in itself should say much about his instruction!). He is able to teach whatever category of music to any person at any level be it acoustic, electric, or theory. I would highly recommend Steve for any age group and for the novice or experienced player wanting to improve. After the many years learning from Steve I wouldn't think of taking lessons from anyone else!

Fantastic Teacher!

I tried to play guitar on my own for years, but until I started taking lessons from Steve, I never really made any progress. Steve is a great teacher that has both the natural ability to teach and play, which rare in the music lesson world. Don't waste your time and money taking lessons from someone that can't deliver what you are looking to accomplish. I believe you will be very pleased with your guitar progress if you decide to take lessons from Steve; I have personal knowledge of at least five persons of all ages taking lessons with him now and many others he has helped with various playing issues. If you need guitar lesson, Steve's your guy.
