We enjoy having Mr. Charlie come to our house and teach our 5 year old son Xavier how to play the piano. He makes sure our son stays focused and goes at a pace that works for him. Xavier has learned a lot, and we are grateful to Mr. Charlie.

Excellent piano teacher!! Very patient, kind, reliable and communicates very well with my 10 yo son. She is so enthusiastic and has really gotten my son interested in music, despite that he is very shy. I have been impressed with how quickly my son has learned to play the piano in just a few months. We have been so thrilled with Carolyn that our other two children are to start lessons this month!!

Carolyn B. is an excellent piano teacher

Carolyn B. has been teaching my 6yr old daughter for a year. Carolyn has a very engaging style of teaching that works extremely well for kids. She has a tested ability to skillfully refocus kid's attention by injecting fun into the lesson and reassuring the kid that "they can". She's extremely patient, is always pleasant is good at easing a child into stepping up their ability and confidence. From the start, I signed up my daughter for 1-hour lessons, unsure if she will focus. I'm amazed at how Carolyn keeps her engegaed through the hour. My daughter's skills and interest in piano continues to grow. I strongly recommend Carolyn B. to teach piano.

Great!

Carolyn has been teaching my 9 year old for just over 2 months and he has learnt immensely. She is very patient, friendly, soft spoken and my son loves her! He is a very shy kind and doesn't adjust to newer people so quickly but she is just phenomenal!
David R. Cary, NC

About David

David discovered his love for music early on at the age of seven with the musical/movie: The Sound of Music. He and his siblings would entertain their babysitter by acting out the entire musical - singing and dancing along with the soundtrack. To make it even more fun, they would sometimes speed up the vinyl record and perform in extra-fast mode! (And that was way before 'Wii - Just Dance!') He vividly remembers his first real musical instruction back in elementary school: “Everyone in 4th Grade was given a Recorder to learn how to play 'Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star'. When the music teacher had the class play together, she noticed that I wasn't looking down at my music booklet as I played, since I was 'playing by ear'. Not only was my booklet turned to the wrong page; it ...

I began taking guitar lessons from David over year ago after several years of lessons with other teachers. I feel quite lucky to have found David, who is not only an extremely talented guitarist but an exceptional teacher. The guitar can be a somewhat intimidating instrument for a “mature adult” student such as myself, but David makes every lesson a positive, fun experience that I always look forward to. He patiently demonstrates techniques, explains concepts in clear, understandable terms, and gently critiques my playing. I have made a great deal of progress in a short amount of time under David's mentorship and I unequivocally recommend him to anyone who wants to become a better guitarist.

David is wonderful. He sees both me and my 7 yr. old son. He puts Jak at ease and meets him where he is at. He is enthusiastic about teaching. David is also kind, gentle, and encouraging. I am LOVING my lessons and Jak though he won't admit it is also having a great time learning to play the guitar. Thanks David!
Autumn B. Raleigh, NC

About Autumn

I have been actively involved in music all my life. I started playing violin 15 years ago. I never would have expected it to take me where I am today. It has guided me to become a confident, respectful, and creatively evolving adult. I teach mostly classical style violin, but do have a few students who are mainly interested in church music, pop, folk, and fiddle. I love to arrange popular music for my students, and encourage this side of the violin as well as the classics. I have played in a few symphony orchestras on the west coast Including the Orange County H.S. of the Arts Philharmonic, and the Spokane Honors Symphony. I have been involved in the creating of Composition Clubs, and String Quartets as well as String Trios in the Pacific Northwest. My main focus with the ...

We could not have asked for a better violin instructor for our 7-year-old daughter. Autumn is exactly what she needed: someone engaging, flexible, creative, and most of all fun! Obviously she is tremendously skilled and a master of her craft, but this does not always make a great teacher. But Autumn is a great teacher, which makes her an absolute gift and inspiration! We are so lucky to have found her! Thanks, Autumn!!!

Autumn is encouraging and enthusiastic and helpful and fun. I am an adult and an experienced violinist who stopped playing for 20 years. I am just getting back into it and am delighted to find that I haven't forgotten how to read music and play, but I am really wanting to improve my sound. Autumn is happy to work on just what I want and need. I don't believe I could have found a better instructor for me.

Autumn falls magically!

So here I am on yet another fork in the road and now I have REAL aspirations of making wonderful sounds with my violin! I'm just an old silly man chasing a dream, and Ms. Autumn is making it happen! No matter how much I make annoying squeaking ear drum popping noises, she's right there making it all sound.....imaginary! Ms. Autumn rocks! Ms. Autumn rolls! She is the best of the best! I can't wait for each new lesson! Thanks so much!!!
