Hello, my name is Jason! I have been surrounded by music for my entire life. My father, a Berklee School of Music graduate, is an accomplished guitarist who introduced me to many forms of music as a child. At age seven he introduced me to Ringo Starr’s drum solo in “The End” by The Beatles and I knew that I wanted to learn to play percussion. Since that time, I have studied percussion theory and technique extensively with Shawn Green and Kevin Fortunato, both Berklee graduates. I studied film scoring, music theory, music history, and electronic composition at the Cambridge School of Weston under Gustavo-Assis Brasil (another Berklee graduate) and Michael Weinstein (the school’s music director and Berklee professor with an extensive list of degrees and credits). I also performed in ...

Berklee College of Music graduate, Aaron M., has been teaching students of all ages for over 12 years. "I love watching young musicians grow into seasoned players and have had tremendous success with all my students. I believe that learning songs and playing music is a critical element in the learning process of becoming a good drummer/pianist, and musician. This is why I bring a powered PA speaker, mp3 player, and (sometimes) a guitar to my lessons for the student to play along with and learn familiar songs. Over the years I've learned to strike a balance between Reading/Rudiments and Playing/having fun, so as to maintain students interests and growth." *** Lesson Details *** Music lessons in the comfort of your home! I wish to start by saying I am a proud father of two girls, currently 15 and 20 years old. I believe parenthood is an often overlooked attribute when seeking a teacher. Parents have nurtured their children since birth. I believe raising children only lends strength to a teachers ability to relate to, and understand a young student. I have always divided my life between music and the pathways of helping others. In the music field I have done so by producing, recording, performing and teaching, and in helping others, I have achieved this through managing community based treatment facilities, ER hospital crisis intervention as a psychiatric clinician and counseling. Both endeavors have been most rewarding and these disciplines have given back to me as much as I have invested in them. ...
I am a 20 year old college student beginning to offer drum/percussion lessons. I began playing and taking lessons when I was 9 years old and continued to until I was 17. I have played the drums/percussion in many bands, festivals, parades, and fundraisers over the years. I can teach music reading, sight reading and rudiment building. I am willing to teach beginners and intermediate players and can even provide a few music books to students which will significantly help them develop as drummers! If your kids want to learn any form of drumming or percussion whether it be rock, hip hop, or orchestra band music, that is no problem! I am very excited to get to know new students and teach them how to perform as a true musician! Lessons can be held in my own home where I have a full drum kit and
