Piano is a great instrument to learn and improve, whether you are just starting out, or enhancing your skills. Kids and adults learn how to play well, grow musicianship skills, and explore a variety of musical styles. Interested students are invited to participate in recitals and community outreach events. For the aspiring musician, preparation for auditions, performances and college applications is provided. For those interested in songwriting and composition, keyboard skills and music theory are interwoven into the training.
About me: I have been playing piano since age 6, and by age 12, I was playing for choirs at school. I have been a music director/pianist/keyboards for musical theatre productions, choirs, baroque operas, and more. I am a composer, songwriter, singer, and harpist. I am on the Roster of the CT Commission on Culture and Tourism, and a prize-winning graduate of the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama. Many references available.

About Zoe V.

Zoe Vandermeer is a prize-winning graduate of the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, is on the Roster of the Connecticut Commission on Culture and Tourism, and has been a recipient of the MTNA Foundation Grant, Hartt School Faculty Development Fund, and the Dame Joan Sutherland Fund. She has been on the faculty of the Hartt School, Regional Arts Center in Trumbull, and has been music director for numerous musical theatre productions. She performs internationally, and is a recording artist. Ms. Vandermeer is dedicated to Arts Education for all ages.
