Learn Ballet with a professional Ballerina!

I have been teaching ballet for over ten years, giving guidance, support and expert coaching to dancers of all ages and levels. Whether you are a pre-professional looking to polish your technique and artistry or a beginner just learning the basics I will structure our class to your level and help you meet your full potential. I teach private classes as well as semi private classes focusing on ballet technique at the barre, combinations in center and jumps. I have a background teaching Pilates and love to share my insight on core work, balance and stability as well as stretching and flexibility. Whatever your goals are in dance, Ballet is an excellent foundation and I look forward to helping you excel as both a dancer and an artist.

I am a professional ballet dancer with more than 13 years of experience with such notable companies as San Diego Ballet, Twin Cities Ballet of Minnesota, Cincinnati Ballet 2 and the Osage Ballet. I am currently employed for my 10th year with the San Diego Ballet, performing in principle and soloist roles such as the Snow Queen in the Nutcracker and Queen Titania in A Midsummer Night's Dream. I have been teaching ballet for over ten years! I work with all ages and levels and formulate each class to fit the goals of each individual student. I have coached pre professional ballet dancers, ice skaters and ballroom dancers who need ballet training to enhance their performance and give them more strength and stability. I love passing on my knowledge of Pilates and I have lots of tips and exercises to help you gain flexibility and become a stronger dancer! Each class is customizable to fit your needs! My range of classes include: Barre Center Pointe Beginner Pointe Variations Pirouette Coaching Adult Ballet Pilates Body Conditioning Strength and Flexibility Character and Artistic Development Choreography for Competition In addition to my professional career as a ballet dancer I am also an actor! I love helping students find their artistic voices and find meaning and expression in their performance. I believe you are never too old to find your passion in ballet! I teach adults who are beginners and those who wish to continue their dance education. I am also a choreographer and my work has been featured by the San Diego Ballet and Twin Cities Ballet of Minnesota. My Dance film Ash has recently made the official selection at the Wicklow ScreenDance Lab festival in Wicklow, Ireland. I also have experience creating pieces for students in contemporary division competitions. My classes aways have a positive and encouraging atmosphere where everyone is welcome! I cant wait to dance with you!

I have danced for 8 seasons with the Osage Ballet in the production of Wazhazhe: An Osage Ballet. I toured extensively with the company all over Oklahoma and to Santa Fe. We were also guests at the Smithsonian Museum of the American Indian and in 2015 we performed for Pope Francis' visit to America at the Festival of Families in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
