I believe lessons should be fun and motivating! I like to incorporate a variety of music and games and to teach my students how to become independent musicians. I earned a BM and MM in Viola Performance and Pedagogy. I have over twenty five years experience teaching private lessons as well as 10 years coaching chamber music and orchestra. I've also gained extensive performing experiences that have taken me to Canada, Japan, Israel, Jordan, and Egypt. I've performed both classical and rock styles and have been privileged to play in stage orchestras with Johnny Mathis, Rod Stewart, Josh Groban, Clay Aiken, Mannheim Steamroller and the Transiberian Orchestra. *** Lesson Details *** I am a very encouraging teacher who recognizes that all students will have individual goals and lesson needs. I support each student to reach their desired potential. I teach in the Traditional Style which introduces note reading almost immediately. Recitals are held twice a year. Monthly group classes.
