Learn to play well known songs in different keys Use major, minor and slash chords as the basis for contemporary playing Follow contemporary chord charts rather than traditional music scores Play scales, arpeggios and chords and understand how to use them in modern songs Understand and use voicing’s for smooth sounding chord changes Develop right and left hand rhythm skills and introduce variety using broken chords, auxiliary and passing notes Zaid's students advance quickly and many go on to perform at worship centers, churches, and their community fuctions in less than 7 months of instruction. Lessons are scheduled to best fit to the student's schedule when possible. Zaid is a very patient instructor and understands that students learn at a different pace, after all everyone is an individual!

Zaid is available for in-home, at school location , and online lessons worldwide in both English and Español!. Zaid has been playing piano for over 15 years and teaching music since 2010. Zaid teaches all experience levels from beginner to intermediate and advanced. Although trained in standard teaching methods, Zaid developed his own method of teaching to positively enhance the student's strength, dexterity, ear-training, memorization and techniques. His goal as a teacher is specifically designed to help you achieve your goals as an artist and or musician. Zaid is one of the directors and Instructor at New Sound Music Lessons and hosts student showcases/charity benefits where his students are able to get on stage and show off their new talent. Zaid is an expert at contemporary Christian music to better enhance the students learning this type of genre.

Responsibilities: Select and plan music for Sunday and midweek services.
