Hi All! I am a New York based professional actor, music director, producer, and the co-artistic director of a professional theatre company housed here in the city. I hold credits from the New York Stage and regionally and graduated with honors from NYU with a degree in Vocal Performance with an Emphasis in Music Theatre. Over the years, I have taught students of all ages and I specialize in utilizing classical vocal technique and healthy singing habits to inform what is at the heart of a song; that is, how in each song, there is a unique marriage between the words and the notes. Additionally, having been cast in leading roles in musicals with pop, rock, and hip/hop influenced scores myself, I believe that a strong background in classic vocal exercise truly helps to keep your voice healthy and strong regardless of the style of the music - the industry is full of artists who manage to negotiate these differing styles with simple tricks and remembering the basics in regards to air flow, resonance, and diction. In addition to vocal instruction, I also offer beginner/intermediate saxophone lessons, beginner piano, and beginner/intermediate/advanced music theory and music-reading.
