I specialize in blues, rock and funk guitar on both the electric and acoustic, I also teach the electric bass and the banjo. I will teach-the fundamentals of music, ie. rhythm, melody and harmony, and then assist you on your journey to finding your own unique musical styling. I believe that music is the ultimate form of SELF expression so it is important that you tell me what inspires YOU and what your personal music goals are. Their are multiple ways to conceptualize the music and i will be your ally in finding what ways work best for you. i will customize lesson plans based on your personal music journey and where you want to get in your playing. whether you want to compose your own symphonies, write your own concept album, play some covers on the weekends, or just better yourself as a human being it would be my honor to teach you

I have been playing the guitar since my teenage years and it has been an integral part of me maturing into a responsible adult. The dedication and patience that learning an instrument have taught me are skills that i have applied to my academic and professional life. I hope to be able to impart not only musical lessons to you but also these life lessons
