Zachary is a professional violinist graduated with a bachelor's degree in music performance from Shenandoah University. He is a highly capable classical violinist who is also familiar with other genres (fiddle, jazz, pop). He has performed extensively as a soloist and with a number of small chamber ensembles and orchestras from around the east coast. Recent performances include: being an apprentice at the Masterworks Music Festival, performing solo Bach repertoire at the Hylton Performing Arts Center, and premiered of Wynton Marsalis' blues symphony with the Shenandoah Conservatory Symphony. Zach is also a violist as well and is capable of teaching piano lessons to beginners. He knows plenty of methods to teach students how to learn music efficiently and joyfully while helping them avoid forming bad habits early on. He believes music is to be enjoyed and shared with others. Recently, Zach received certification from the Suzuki Association of the Americas to teach Suzuki Book I to violin students.

Very attentive communicative teacher.
If you have a child who is playing the violin or thinking of starting the violin, I highly recommend Zachary. He will give your child mainstream detailed instruction with a great enthusiasm, wholeheartedly. What can you ask more for a teacher!
