I am a violinist that loves the different worlds music can bring us into, and I want to teach you how to access these worlds! Students of mine expect to learn the basics of music theory and violin technique; each lesson with is a chance for you to learn new skills and to improve upon ones you are developing.

I have been playing for over eight years, and in that time I have tutored many beginning level students on things ranging from reading sheet music to working through their violin books.

The method that I use to teach students is through using the Suzuki violin books, which are considered a classic method within the music community. Using these books in conjunction with a teacher is an excellent and proven way for a student to learn the skills necessary for the violin. If you are not familiar with reading music, as the Suzuki books we will use assume, I am more than happy to teach you every little thing about reading music that you would like to know.
