Pianist Yun Lu, a 20-years-old from Taiwan, was the winner of PianoTexas Young Artists concerto competition in 2015, the second place of senior division in 2015 Music Teachers National Association competition and was the prize winners in many majors competitions in Taiwan. Ms. Lu made her orchestral debut at age of 14 with Taiwan Youth Orchestra. Since then,she has appeared in recitals as soloist in Kaohsiung City Music Hall and Jhihde Hall in Taiwan, France, as well as in United States. Recently, she performed Liszt piano concerto No.1 in E flat major with Forth Worth Symphony under the baton Lio Kuokman.
Yun has participated numerous renowned music festivals including Walnut Hill Music Festival, Academie Internationale d'Ete de Nice, Formosa Chamber Music Festival, Music@menlo chamber music festival and as a fellowship recipient of Pianotexas festival. Currently, She is studying under the tutelage of Ning An, the third prize winner of Queen Elizabeth Piano competition in 1999.
