I am a classically trained artist who works primarily in oil. My main genre is portraiture and I have taught life drawing and portrait painting in both the UK and USA. I have many years of experience and teach from foundations of painting and drawing to more complex subjects like colour theory and composition. My studio is located in downtown Santa Barbara but I am happy to travel and teach at your home as well as to teach landscape painting outdoors.
