Hi, there! My name is Young Sin Choi and I can't wait to meet you! I've been teaching private lessons since 2006 and have loved helping my students to be musically creative, to know theoretical and historical background, and to be capable of the techniques to play a musical piece successfully. I earned Doctor of Musical Arts at Boston University in 2015, Master of Music at Eastman School of Music in 2011, and Bachelor of Music at New England Conservatory of Music in 2009. Currently, I serve as an adjunct faculty at South Texas College. I'm a very patient and kind person and my teaching style is to encourage students to be creative with their playing and to remind the importance of techniques. I explain as much as students want, and I know it takes time to improve students' skills. I look forward to helping you reach your goals!
