Ying is awesome and a great teacher. I encourage you to play cello with Ying.
Ying is very patient and experienced in online teaching methods. I've learned a lot and enjoyed every lesson.
Ying is an amazing teacher. She is clearly very knowledgeable and experienced, and explains things at a pace that is fitting for me.
She is such an amazing teacher!! Finished my third lesson and I’ve already learned so much! Even over facetime she can critique my hand position and give me tips like it was in-person lessons! She is so sweet and I’ve really enjoyed taking lessons from her the past few weeks!!Show More

Great first lesson - looking forward to lesson #2!
First lesson was excellent. Ying was very patient and helpful. I am looking forward to my next lesson with her.
Ying is an incredibly friendly and helpful teacher. She explains thoroughly, welcomes questions, and is very encouraging. She seems very experienced and I look forward to learning more from her.
Our first lesson went very well. She was lively and engaging. I think my 9 year old son will do well under her instruction.
I just had my third lesson with Ying. Being an adult student, I think it's common for people like me to tend to skip ahead and just dive into cello playing head on. Ying was great in picking up things that I was doing incorrectly like for example, my finger strength, need to cut nails (yes, embarassing as that sounds, it did happen!), my posture, the angle of both my hands, and how there seems to be too much tension with both my arms. It's surprising to me because this is online and only via a webcam. I'm pretty sure face-to-face will be a great help especially correcting my angles and postures, but Ying seems to be maximizing what she can teach online.Show More
