Hello there! How would you like to learn about the world of fashion design? My name is Yevette, and I am an independent clothing designer by trade. I love every aspect of making a garment-- from initial sketching, to pattern-making, to sewing/production! And I would love to share that with you. My specialties are in basic sewing, drafting patterns, tailoring/fit, couture detailing, design concepts, and more. I graduated from the University of St. Thomas in 2012 with a degree in both Business and Apparel Design, with a minor in Studio Art. I also attended the London College of Contemporary Arts and received a PG Certification in Creative Pattern Cutting. My own work is in sustainable/eco-friendly and socially responsible design, which essentially means I design for the greater good and strive for improvements in the garment-production industry.
