I teach in a student-centered fashion where I encourage students to make their own musical discoveries and to gather the tools needed for achieving their musical goals.  We will be doing actual music in every lesson.  I am comfortable with many styles from rock to jazz and electronic music.  I have been teaching for over 10 years. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Music Composition, a Master's Degree in Music Education and I am currently a Ed.M and prospective doctoral student at Columbia University
