I have a Masters Degree in Music Education, teaching and performance. I have been a Piano teacher for children at US military bases in Germany and Italy, and at a Music Schools in Russia and US. *** Lesson Details *** Students will learn to read music and understand and play different styles of music. You will enjoy your progress from simple to advanced level of piano playing. Students will appreciate learning the proper hand technique for playing the piano. Parents will be amazed at your ability to play the piano.     It was only a first lesson and getting to know each other. Which is what I expected. expect to get to work in the next lesson.

    Yana Giles has been the best piano teacher I have ever taken lessons from out of all 5 teachers I've had. She is patient, encouraging and motivational through every piece she assigns me. My appreciation for music grew an enormous amount after beginning lessons with her. My hand technique improved, as well as performance ability. I recommend her to anyone looking to learn the piano! Even if you have already learned the piano and wish to improve somehow, Yana will show you a new understanding of music that you never thought you could have.
