Hello Everyone, Do you want to learn Korean (Vancouver/Burnaby/Richmond)? Are you planning to travel or work in Korea? Do you like watching Korean TV shows or dramas? Do you want to experience what Korean culture is like? I am here to help you ! I was born born in Korea, living in Canada for more than 10 years. I completed a certificate named "Translation and Interpretation for Business (Korean-English) from University of British Columbia. As a native speaker, I have more than 7 years experience to teach Korean in one to one and class setting, from children to adult professionals. My teaching approach is focused on how to make it easy for English speakers to read and write in Korean as soon as possible. Upon graduation, I have served as a translator and an interpreter at an immigration consulting firm. I found that my professional experience as an interpreter provided me with a broad view that is useful in assisting students with projects and assignments. These experiences have built my confidence and an interest in teaching. I have been working as a language teacher instructor; school teacher at various levels and locations (private school; government related language learning centre); TOPIK. I also offer English-Korean translation/interpretation service. What I do best is that I can lead lessons to what you need whether it's a daily conversation or business Korean or TOPIK. I prefer conversational approach and use books, picture cards , vocabulary quizzes , TV news , and K-POP lyrics depending on your level and interests.
