Tanglewood Music Center

I was selected to come back for a second year at the Tanglewood Music Center, during which I was Principal horn for pieces such as Beethoven's Symphony No. 4 and Ligeti's Violin Concerto. I also participated in chamber works such as Mihauld's La cheminée du roi René Woodwind Quintet and Lindberg's Ottoni for Brass Ensemble. This is a full-tuition program sponsored by generous donors.

New York String Orchestra Seminar

I was a fellow who participated in the (unfortunately first-ever) online NYSOS seminar! Despite the limitations of Zoom, we had an intensive week of music-making during which I learned about chamber repertoire I've never played and certain orchestral repertoire as well.

Baltimore Symphony Orchestra OrchKids

I am a substitute teaching artist for the BSO's OrchKids program, an El Sistema-based program in Baltimore City providing free music education.

Tanglewood Music Center

I was selected to be a fellow at the Tanglewood Music Festival for summer 2020. The in-person requirement of this festival needed to be postponed, so I will be attending this festival online! I'm re-invited back for next year, so if you happen to visit the Berkshires in Massachusetts, see you there!

Sarasota Music Festival

I attended the Sarasota Music Festival, a chamber music-focused music festival during the summer of 2019. I had an absolutely amazing time going out of my comfort-zone experiencing all there is to offer in the world of chamber music!

Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra

Notable Repertoire: Stravinsky's The Rite of Spring and The Firebird, Strauss's Also Sprach Zarathustra, and Rachmaninoff's The Isle of the Dead.

National Orchestral Institute + Festival

I was a fellow with the National Orchestra Institute + Festival at the University of Maryland, College Park. I performed in various community outreach during my time here and gained valuable orchestral playing experience and connections.

Baltimore Symphony Orchestra OrchKids Summer Program

I supported group Brass class for the upper and lower levels and gave individual lessons for those who wanted them every week. I mostly taught horn players but I also taught trumpet players.
