Our first class was amazing! Xin is bursting with positive energy, kindness, and patience. She’s exactly what my 9 year old hopeful musician needs right now! Can’t wait to continue classes with her!

Xi is VERY knowledgeable of the art of horn playing. I understand what she is saying without difficulty. She knows what she is doing and her skill in teaching is above average. I’m so thankful to have found a teacher who respects where I am at 54 and how to help me get back in the game. The work is up to me of course, but she been very real and encouraging along the way. Well done!

Dynamic and effective lessons. Fundamentals of horn playing explained thoroughly through fun, easy to follow drills and video clips from the instructor. Each student gets a designated share drive with lesson notes, assignments, technique videos etc.

She is great with small kids

An excellent teacher. I enjoyed the lesson a lot and some progress was definitely made :)

The first lesson was great. My daughter is looking forward to more!

I enjoyed lessons with Xin so much! She provided great tips for improving my playing range, attack, etc. Good sense of humor and patient with me.

Xin is an energetic and friendly instructor. I was so glad to see she brings her horn to the lessons as well. My child connected with her right away, and he has a renewed excitement for his instrument.

Xin is a superb instructor. She is very patient and has provided me with techniques and tips that have improved my horn skills significantly. She is very knowledgeable and online instruction allows her to provide immediate feedback during the lesson. Though I have a long way to go, the improvements I have experienced have far surpassed my expectations.

I haven't taken lessons from Xin, but as a colleague of hers at the Eastman School of Music, I can honestly say that she is one of the best and most dedicated horn players I've ever met. I have no doubt that Xin's skills as a musician would transfer well to her teaching. You won't go wrong with her.

Loved her informative and supportive sessions! Would highly recommend!
I go to school with Xin and she is a very dedicated player with a beautiful sound. She is very knowledgeable of horn playing mechanics and will make an amazing teacher.
