Hello, I'm Xena.
Although I was born and raised in the U.S., I have learned Korean from my mother since I was five years old. I have won multiple Korean Essay Competitions, Korean Speech and Debate Competitions, as well as Korean Bible Recitations throughout my elementary, middle, and high school years. As a high school student, I taught Korean to students 5-18 years of age at my local church, as one of the Korean Teachers. I have also taught during summer sessions at my church, as well as tutoring private lessons throughout my high school years. As a college student, I tutor many students taking Korean as a secondary language on basic reading, writing, and speaking skills. Moreover, I like to teach my students about the Korean culture and traditions to help immerse them in the language. 
Ultimately, I hope to promote the Korean culture and language, since it is such a beautiful, yet easy to master language compared to others.

I enjoy traveling around the world with my friends and family. I love to bake with my friends while drinking my grande iced latte at Starbucks. I think I am pretty active - I enjoy running and cycling on the weekends, but I also like to relax at home with Netflix - Criminal Minds and Masterchef are a few of my favorites!
