Spanish with Wyatt C.

I am an experienced Spanish teacher who just moved to the NYC area to start grad school in the fall. I have taught middle school Spanish in the Boston area for the past 5 years, but have experience in classrooms and tutoring young kids, teenagers and adults. I have both presented work at teaching conferences and published in the field of language teaching. I graduated from Washington University in St. Louis (WashU) in 2010 with a major in Spanish. I've lived for 3 academic years in Spain, and have also spent significant amounts of time in Mexico, Costa Rica, Chile and Perú. My preference is to make lessons conversational, practical and personal. I strongly believe that a language, like any skill, is best learned THROUGH DOING IT (as opposed to learning about it in a textbook). That said, I am always happy to cater to your specific interests and needs.
