I graduates UCLA on piano scholarship in 2005 and have worked with many Grammy-winning musicians.  I've also won 2 fellowships for teaching and have taught privately for 15+ years. I have a student-centered approach where I set up a step-by-step plan to get you to the musical goal of your choosing. Plus some humor and cool context to keep it interesting.

I graduated UCLA on full piano scholarship and have been teaching privately since 2005. Besides awards for jazz piano and film scoring, I've also received 2 fellowships for education. I love to share the joy of music through teaching and I also get a kick out of seeing the different ways people learn. I try to find out your musical goals, and then I set up a step-by-step way to get there, whether you can practice 60 hours a week or just 5 minutes. Ages 3-77 taught so far. Billy is a great teacher!  Both my son and I took lessons and we both learned so much.  Now my son loves Beethoven, and we go to the symphony together.  He is highly accomplished musician ad is also a vy warm and patient teacher.
