I can give you the tools you need to begin your path to become the guitarist you want to be. I have been playing for many years and enjoy guitar as a form of relaxation for myself and any one that cares to listen. I can teach you a song the first day, or we can learn the basics and go from there. It is my desire for you to have fun while learning to play the guitar. Lesson book and any essentials are included in cost if used.
Great band playing eclectic and old country tunes.
I have played and written music with Mark for a number of years now and can declare that he knows his stuff! His passion for music always comes through vibrantly, he has a great ear for improv, and he's tremendous fun to play and write music with. He is a fabulous guitar player on both acoustic and electric guitars, and he handles a bass beautifully as well. He is a patient and knowledgeable teacher who will be a great benefit to anyone who takes lessons from him!+ Read More
Mark taught our son beginning at 10 years old and continued well into high school. Our son was playing songs within the first couple of lessons and grew exponentially. He later taught music himself and was accepted into the guitar performance program at the prestigious Belmont University. Today, our son is living and performing in Nashville, and it all dates back to seeds Mark planted. Mark is a patient teacher, a relevant musician, supportive, generous and intuitively knows the best approach to igniting a passion for music and nurturing talent. I highly recommend Mark as a teacher for students of any age and any skill level.+ Read More

Several of his students continued their music career after high school and studied music on a college level. On a personal note, Mark is a wonderful person! He gives 110% and beyond to help others out. You could not find a finer teacher than Mark Taylor.+ Read More
