Hey! Welcome to my page future student! My name is Will. I have been playing guitar for well over 15 years. I've always been a big metal player at heart. When I began my journey with music, I struggled at first and honesty, did not like guitar. WHAT!? It wasn't FUN to take lessons for me. It wasn't until I found my long-term teacher, and still good friend today. Going from frustration to inspiration was a big eye-opener for me into the world of teaching. All it took was one passionate teacher to change literally my entire life. That kind of privilege is something that has driven my career to this day. To tell you a bit about my experience: I have played in multiple rock and metal bands and have toured the United States multiple times. I have written full length albums and have appeared on a variety of radio stations, websites, streaming channels etc. Outside of the rock world, I have also played acoustic and classical guitar for weddings and various promotional gigs, worship bands, and cover bands. I have studied at college for jazz and classical guitar and have plenty of experience in both reading music and understanding music theory. While it depends on each student's goals, we can go as deep down the rabbit hole for theory as you'd like! My topics cover a wide range: technique, style, composition, theory, song-learning, reading, improvisation, fundamentals, rhythm, lead mechanics, recording etc. If you aren't sure on what you want to learn or are looking for the right teacher for your child, I have years of experience working with children and creating lesson plans from the ground up for each student.
