I can help young percussionists understand what takes place during the process of their music-making. My music theory sessions can be customized for what you are looking for. Whether it be transcribing your favorite song, or simply improving your knowledge of scales, keys, and chords.

I am a percussionist excited to help others grow and explore what speaks to them within the percussion idiom. I have done undergraduate and graduate study at some of the top conservatories in Chicago and NYC and want to give back to the next generation of musicians! While classical percussion is my specialty, I have experience playing jazz, rock, and funk as well as traditional Brazilian percussion.

William worked with our middle school percussionists in a group sectional, and the students loved it. He can speak at their level and give them the proper fundamentals/next steps to help them progress on both snare and mallet technique. I highly recommend William as a percussion instructor.
