After over twenty years of professional acting experience including both National tours of "The Phantom of the Opera," where I played Andre, the Opera house manager, I began teaching voice at N.YU. Tisch, School of the arts to acting and dance majors. In addition to voice, I have taught piano and have studied several other musical instruments. For singers I like to not only impart the mechanics necessary to know about vocal production, but the acting skills equally as necessary in order to fully put over a song.
Teaching private voice to both acting and dancing majors in the heart of Washington Square. Cultivating confidence and security by focusing on vocal technique including breath and placement work, and applying that to repertoire ranging from musical theatre to contemporary pop with an onus on the interpretation of a song.
Also created a voice class for dance majors.
Teaching vocal technique, piano, and coaching auditions from an amateur level to professionals in the Broadway scene.
Also, preparing singer instrumentalists for shows that call for actors to play instruments as well as sing and act.
Teaching vocal technique and song interpretation to young stage and film actors in training, both in a class and private setting.
Teaching vocal technique and music theory in both a private and classroom setting to adolescent aged stars of tomorrow!
