My name is Wesley R. I am a professional classical pianist and have performed in Jazz ensembles too, and I teach classical as well as some jazz piano. I hold a bachelor's degree in music with high honors from Stan State. Also, I received a first-place award in the Classical Solo Performance category in 2013 in the Humanities Competitions at Modesto Junior College. I am also a composer, and I have been awarded first prize in the 2018 Robert Avalon International Competition for Composers.

I work as a piano accompanist at colleges and a variety of churches, organizations, and theatres.

During these 10 years, I have taught piano to many people of different levels (from beginners to advanced university students), and I also have tutored many college and university music students. I have so much experience with young kids as well and have a fun personality and try to incorporate in my curriculum music that today's young generation listens to. I always seek new methods and approaches to teaching piano, in order to teach each student based on their personality, abilities, background, and progress. I enjoy teaching and sharing my experiences with everyone, and I hope I can help make your dreams of being great pianists and musicians come true.

I am an experienced writer. I have received multiple awards in writing and poetry two of which are from the Humanities Contest in MJC.
I have a passion for math and computer science, and I have taken private lessons and done a lot of self-education over the years to improve my skills in every area of math and also to learn and teach computer programming.
