I have made music my life. I studied piano from the age of 5. I have performed with the Monmouth Symphony Orchestra, the Garden State Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra, the Ocean County College Band and Chorus, the Georgian Court University Band, et al. I wouldn't be doing what I do if I wasn't having fun at it.
I was a Classroom Music Teacher, teaching 3 year old's thru students in grade 8. I am currently a Church Organist for 3 congregations, a Choir Director and Accompanist, and a Private Piano Teacher.
I am currently limiting my student base to beginner pianists.

I truly believe you catch more bees with honey. I see no need to be strict. I believe a more relaxed approach to giving private lessons is better for the student. I believe the end result will be a student that wants to learn as much as they can and a student that will likely remain a music lover for life.
Each lesson is tailored to a particular student, according to age and musical background. A personal goal is to motivate the student by the material they are given. It is also important that I have presented the concepts covered in the lesson in a clear way. After 3 months you can expect to know basic music concepts, you will be beginning to read music, and you will be playing tunes. After 6 months you will be more adept in all areas. For young beginners I use the Middle C method and for older beginners I use the Triad method.
