In my lessons, I foucus on the techniques on drums, music listening, rhythm understanding and musicality as a musician. My goal as a teacher is to help my students to find out what their goals are musically, encourage them to do the practices and guide them into the right direction, so that in the end of the day, they would be able to play what they really like, be better on the instrument and have fun with it!

I am a drummer who loves sharing my love of music based in New York City. I have a Master Degree in Jazz Performance from Queens College, and have worked and played in a lot of different bands and ensembles, such as Jazz small ensembles, Jazz big band, award winning Indie Band, percussion group. I have also participated in "Rooftop Zoo" Jazz Musical and accompanied for dancers in Dance Concerts too. From my rich experiences of playing in different settings, I developed a diverse ability on the instrument but at the same time, keep my personel style and sound unique and authentic. And I would love to share all these experiences with people from who are interested in gaining more music knowledge to people who are trying to learn and improve on rhythm and drums to people who wants to become professional drummer! I play Jazz, funk, R&B/Soul, Pop, Latin, Contemporary and Rock.

I have performed with various group in Washionton Square Music Festival (with Frank Lacy Group), CUNY Jazz Festival, National Theater Concert Hall Summer Jazz Festival (with featuring artist Antonio Hart and Michael Phillip Mossman), Taichung Jazz Festival, Golden Melody Festival, GonGliao Rock Festival, Wake Up Music Festival, NTU Art Festival and prestigious venues in New York such as National Sawdust, Smalls Jazz Club, LeFrak Concert Hall, Goldstein Theater, Williamsberg Music center, Terraza 7, Shrine, and Silvana to name a few.

I've been teaching as a drum instructor since 2012 and has been a part of the Faculty working closely with Michael Philip Mossman and Antonio Hart in the National Theater and Concert Hall Jazz camp in Taiwan teaching workshops and conducting Jazz ensembles.
