Hello! As a music teacher for over 10 years, I have taught music at various levels ranging from complete beginner to college level, in music theory, piano performance, and composition. Hello! As a music teacher for over 10 years, I have taught music at various levels ranging from complete beginner to college level, in music theory, piano performance, and composition. My lessons are catered specifically to the needs of individual students, and my philosophy is to always have fun with the music!

I am a composer and pianist with an active professional profile, travelling around the world performing, teaching and collaborating with wonderful people. I am currently a doctoral candidate in music composition at the Peabody Conservatory of the Johns Hopkins University, USA. I hold Master's degrees in Music Theory Pedagogy and Composition.

I've been taking online lessons with Wei for the past couple of months, and I quite enjoy them. As an adult piano player, I don’t have specific goals. I just play for fun most of the time. Wei, nevertheless, made specific teaching plans for me. He learns my strength and weaknesses, and chooses pieces that are both enjoyable to play and technically challenging for me, so that I’m able to tackle my weaknesses. His expertise helps me improve in many ways, like piano techniques and overall understanding of music. After a few lessons with him, I gained confidence in playing. I’m able to improve my performance of the pieces I love. Besides, Wei is an easy-going person. It’s fun to work with him.
