Young Audiences of Mass. Music Program

An annual recognition to celebrate Black History Month and the Civil Rights Movement. Educating children from grades K-5 about slavery through theatrical and other forms of musical entertainment. Included were Spirituals and Gospel music performances telling of why the songs were written and sung by the slaves.

Center Stage Band - a versatile band that plays many different styles and the favorites of today will get you up on your feet! Specializing in Classic Rock, Motown, Jazz, R&B, and 70's and 80's. In fact, the band will also provided classical or Jazz music for wedding ceremonies. We have a song list online to customize the music to fit your occasion. If interested in techno-electronic or club music it would be played by band/DJ package. Band musicians have performed with some of the world's top entertainers like Gladys Knight and the Pips, Temptations, The 4 Tops, Najee, New Kids on the Block, Wayne Newton and Johnny Mathis, and in top venues like New York's Madison Square Garden and Carnegie Hall, Boston Garden, Great Woods, The Wang Center and South Shore Music Circus.

Assisted with planning and teaching developmentally appropriate musical selections for infants and toddlers with their parents. In sing-a-longs we used percussion toys, clapping, and movements to develop motor skills. Regularly providing clean space for each session.

A family owned studio and publishing business started in 2001. Customize original songs similar to Pop, R&B, funk or Jazz style. As a vocalist, I write lyrics to songs, arrange lead vocals and backup vocals. Compositions and engineering by executive producer. Studio opened for clients as needed. First cd was released on syndicated radio stations on cdbaby.com and iTunes in 2002, “Heart, Soul, Strength, and Mind” under Jim and Jean Peterson. Booking performances at local bistros and clubs around the New England area for cd sales along with online sales.
