Hi! I’m Virginia. I’m a native speaker born in the southern USA but have spent the majority of my adult life in New York City. I have a bachelor’s degree from Yale University. I also have a TESOL certificate. I am currently an IT consultant, and I also teach part-time as an ESL Group Class teacher. The majority of my experience has been in the business arena as an Oracle IT consultant working for such companies as ING Barings, Morgan Stanley, Credit Suisse, Sony, and Pfizer. Projects included full lifecycle development from vendor selection to knowledge transfer. Experience communicating with colleagues at all levels has made me very comfortable with business and technical topics. But I enjoy talking about a variety of themes, whatever suits your interests and needs. Whether it's current events, business, education, health, you name it; we’ll enjoy a stimulating conversation as you master the English language. I love teaching and sharing my discoveries with others not only as a teacher/speaker but also as a learner/listener. I'm a fantastic listener and an avid reader! I can't wait to speak with you!
