Hello! My name is Vincent, and I am "that numbers guy" who wants to help you learn math! I have been (formally) tutoring college-age students and high school seniors for over a year through both my university and freelancing. I recently finished my undergraduate with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, and I love using my knowledge to help others. I would describe my teaching style as student-oriented. I like to be the one asking questions because it encourages students to develop a deep, adequate understanding required to explain the concepts back to me. Sometimes even I don't know the answer to a particularly difficult question, and I'm okay with admitting that! However working together with you, the student, to solve those problems will ultimately lead to better retention and comprehension. I also have extensive experience helping students write essays at the college level. As a former tutor at the Indiana University Writing Tutorial Services, I have worked with countless amounts of students on papers ranging from classes like freshman English to graduate school applications.
