I've made my career as a performing musician and teacher for many years. I've enjoyed touring the Northeast U.S. and also the U.K. What fun it's been meeting different people and experiencing their love of music! My band specializes in rock, blues, and originals, too. There's even a little jazz influence, coming from my years of private study, most recently with Ms. Leni Stern, an extraordinary professor of music at NYU. I love to keep an open mind with my students regarding playing styles and approaches to learning, and I'll encourage you to do the same! Individuality is your number one asset, I want to help you become the best you can be.

I really enjoy teaching guitar, so you'll find that I'm very upbeat, patient, and encouraging. When I meet you, we'll talk about your goals, and any musical knowledge you may already have. I'll offer you different options. Do you want to learn to read music, maybe just play some chords, maybe you're not sure? If you have a definite idea, we'll plan a course of action. If not, please allow me to suggest a well-rounded line of study that I feel will be right for you. You're taking a step toward playing one of the most fun instruments in the world, I'm here to help!
