Hi! My name is Victoria Ann Meyers and I work one-on-one with home sewists to help develop their sewing and pattern making skills so that they feel empowered to continue to use them to create their dream wardrobes!
I aim to educate my students in their unique areas of interest through custom tailored private lessons, encourage them by guiding them step by step through the projects that excite them, and empower them to continue to use their new skills in future projects.
I specialize in garment sewing, and am a BurdaStyle certified sewing teacher. Sewing lessons are available in your home, with in-studio lessons coming soon. I can also teach lessons in knitting, crochet, and embroidery, which can be held either at your home or your favorite park, library, or coffee shop.
I have been professionally teaching fine arts and craft classes and workshops to all ages for nearly a decade, and with over 20 years of experience in fiber arts media including sewing, knitting, crochet, and embroidery, I am thrilled to have the opportunity to share my skills with my students. My educational background in both fine arts and fashion design, coupled with my years of experience in both craft and teaching, allows me to create custom-tailored lessons centered around each student's unique skill level and ambitions.
Please feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns, I can't wait to meet you!

Taught knitting and crochet workshops in-store for both adults and children
Completed the BurdaStyle instructor certification course covering many advanced garment sewing techniques and how to apply them in an educational environment.
Victoria was very knowledgable and friendly. She guided my daughter and I through the process of understanding the basics of starting a sewing project. We learned how to use a pattern to make a pair of pants and as a result discovered what works and what doesn't.
We were excited to have someone who understood our needs and was able to answer all of our questions.
