Vicky is a music teacher originally hailing from Cocoa Beach, FL. She has been teaching since 2008, starting in the Central Florida area and then in the Southwest Virginia region. She studied music therapy at the graduate level through Radford University, and general music, with coursework in education, religious studies, and vocal training at the undergraduate level through the University of Central Florida, Orlando. At UCF she has studied with Dr. Jeremy Hunt and Kimberly Saunders Randall, and her past voice teachers include, Jason Reichman and Young Ju Lee, both FSU alumni. She started her music career with piano 20 years ago under the wing of Diana Ryder, and from there her love for music grew. Growing up, she listened to a variety of music, classical, musical theatre, Disney, pop, and Vietnamese folk and pop music. Ms. Ryder exposed her to a plethora of new genres and from there she developed her own style. Piano-wise her primary focuses are the romantic and baroque era, especially Bach, Beethoven, and Chopin. Vocally, her styles branch musical theatre, opera, pop, country, and on occasion touches on jazz. She has made the effort to learn as much as she possibly can about music, the different ways to play, to sing, while still keeping true to her own style. She hopes that her students have that same drive and be open to learning all sorts of music!

I expect them to provide a piano for piano lessons, and I can provide an instrument for voice lessons. I will find the books or media the student may need, and expect the student/parents of the student are responsible for the costs.
Piano and voice instructor; Also did week long summer clinics for young children in piano
great session!! looking forward to many more
As always, Vicky was great!
Victoria (Vicky) has been amazing. She is patient and affable. If she can work effectively with me, someone with no singing experience/knowledge whatsoever, she can work with anyone. I highly recommend her.
Enjoyed my first singing lesson. Really looking forward to the next one.
Victoria is a great teacher, she understands my style of singing and helps me on my tone, focus, breath and everything else I need to become a great singer. She is a great person to work with. She also gives positive feedback and a nice way of letting you know if you have to work on something without making you feel bad. I look forward to my lessons with her every week!
