I have been teaching professionally for 4 years, and playing for 20. I believe that music lessons should not be a stressful experience, because music is fun! While the lessons will build on technique, music theory, and music history, we will play songs that the students are interested in so that they want to continue playing. I teach all types of genres, and I also can help with audition preparation.

I have a Bachelor's Degree from Central Michigan University in Music. At CMU, I played both piano and upright bass. I received a Master's Degree from Arizona State University in Musicology. I have played piano for 20 years, upright bass for 15 years, and French Horn for 12 years. I also play violin, viola, cello, organ, and trumpet. I love music and love sharing my passion with my students!
