I'm a very friendly and easygoing instructor. My philosophy in teaching music is to show the student musical elements that can be put into practice right away, which can be used in a context to have a solid reference of the progress made. *** Lesson Details *** I strongly believe that in a learning process it is essential to experience results so that the motivation is there from the start. That is not to say that thing come easily to us, everything takes time and effort, but it is very positive to learn in ways where we can apply what we have learned to real life right away. This also goes hand in hand with spending the right amount of time practicing and studying, I put a very strong emphasis on this and I make sure the student is always understanding and advancing. For that, I strive to build a strong relationship with the student so the learning process is solid and continuous, I want to make sure the student is always learning and growing as a musician. And of course, have fun! That's the ultimate goal when doing music, bringing joy to your life and the life of others, that is the most rewarding feeling you can experience with music. *** Studio Equipment *** Living room. All instruments including a piano, guitars, and drum set. Ample seating. *** Travel Equipment *** Me: Percussion, piano, books, audiovisual material, basic recording equipment. Students: Their own instruments. Except for piano and percussion if they don't own it. *** Specialties *** I usually tailor my lessons to the needs and level of the students. I like to make it very interactive, especially for the younger students. We start with a particular style, genre or song that they are interested in and I build my classes from there eventually introducing other topics and techniques that are necessary for their development. I do this to engage them right away in the subject and make it enjoyable. This is very particularly important with the very young ones.
